If I am being dim, please feel free to tell me. I am trying to pay everything off but keep being told that I should go bankrupt instead. I dont want to lose my home - is this feasible?

Hi Does anyone know what percentage you can offer a credit card as f&f settlement without them laughing in your face and also if you do make an offer and they reject it can they force you to pay more if you already have an agreement with them to pay them a certain amount each month?

What's the difference? A friend has a few debts and since taking a second job, is in a position to clear them one by one if she saves second jobs wages for a couple of months. Now I know about reduced settlements but would that impact on credit score? What is F&F settlement?
