I paid off the first CC since seriously becoming a DFW - only about 5 weeks ago.:j Ok it was one of the samll ones but with a high interest and it felt great:j :j
OH asked me yeaterday if i ever pay full price for anything any more!
I can't believe how much we have cut down/saved this month and all with the help of this site and all of your great advice.
We've got a long way to go but I think this was the first time EVER that we have paid off a CC without balance transferring of consolidating and I'm so HAPPY!!!!:D

Well done! I only wish I could say the same - but soon!I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Thanks Moozie it feels great.i have a little worry that the YB might eat my salary whwn it gets paid in next week cos we've got claim going for £4700 in bank charges and they have been doing this with some people. I have just got a new account but not had time to sort out paying my wages into it.
If they do we are going to have a bad month next month - fingers crossed I can get my wages out before they start getting nasty!0 -
