Would a reckless spender put you off a relationship?
After seeing the thread regarding debt keeping us single, I thought about it on the flip side, as this is quite relevant to me at the moment. If you liked someone but they have a reckless attitude to spending (ie it all went on going out, nothing in savings) would that put you off? (i know it does me) Having read a couple…

Trying to help someone who maybe doesnt want to be helped.
Hi Everyone, Just wondered what your thoughts were regarding this situation. My G/fs brother has had credit problems in the past but had just about got himself sorted (he was forced to by his mother taking a % of his earnings to make the payments). For almost eight years I've struggled to keep my head above water after ex disappeared leaving me with huge debts (long story). Anyhow, he's long gone (and hasn't been seen since) so I've paid the morgage, chipped away at the debts - some with arrangements - and got a full time job. We've survived! It's not been easy…

Credit card conundrum
I had three credit cards, and have now cleared two of them. One has been closed, the other will be closed as soon as I receive confirmation that the balance is now zero. My remaining card I am keeping, as I am now a 'responsible' credit card user - I haven't added to the balance in months and no longer have any desire to.…
