Hi all
Im posting as Im feeling a bit muddled up, confused, worried, scared and a million other feelings!
Im in alot of debt, im quite young for it really and have asked for help.
Ive contacted the CCCS and theyve been great.
Im at the stage where Im sorting out new account, about to send off token payment form and signed forms off to cccs.
Ive accepted that if I dont do this now, theres going to be a time really soon where I cant do anything.
One of the things that is really worrying me is that it all just seems too good to be true, I fully understand the kind of letters and phonecalls Im going to receive but I just feel so worried!. The lady was so reassuring and comforting about everything and I have her email addy etc if Im ever worried!....all this for free??
I was hoping someone whos been in my situation or is in it, with the CCCS could help me a bit, just for some moral support really, Id appreciate it.

Firstly, :hello: and welcome to MSE.com.
If you have rung CCCS then you are in good hands. There are hundreds of people on this site that have used CCCS and wouldn't say a bad word against them so don't worry and they will help you. Just take there advise and follow the guidelines and you'll be fine!
You've obviously had your lightbulb moment and realised there was a problem which is further down the line that alot of people. Well done for that. In no time at all you'll be celebrating your debt free day!
You may want to post your SOA - Statement of Affairs. Full Income/Outgoings/Benefits/Total Debt etc and see people on the site could help you save money on simple things that could be used to pay off the debt quicker. This is quite daunting, but it is a way of truely facing upto your problem by having it all written down.
