So I'm chaining myself to my laptop and never logging off!!

    Here, Here.

I was really bad when I first joined MSE because I basically spent all of my time in Shop until you drop, and the Grabbit whilst you can section. Now that we are buying a house I try to stay away from those as much as possible.
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

I spend most of my time online, and to be honest for the first few weeks you are looking to become debt free then spending hours upon end on this forum is invaluable.

However make sure you go to other sites of interest (no shopping sites) to keep your mind going

I agree it stops you going anywhere and spending. But another downside is its stopping me (more like its an excuse!) in getting stuff together for a car boot sale, which will make me money!

Its so true, I'm spending so much time on this site that I don't get the chance to spend money any more, and don't really have much desire to either...

But hubby is feeling neglected and is getting a bit bored with hearing me constantly typing away, but its easy for him, he's naturally good with his money, I have to work at it !

Thank God (maybe) my OH posts on here as well on his computer. If he didn't, all he would be hearing is "But hun, I'm only on here because I'm trying to save us money!" :rotfl:

well seems we have to have a few rules for our 'always-online' community!!

you must log off for at least 1 hour when doing money-saving activities like organising car-boot and ebay items.

logging off for family obligations is voluntary :D:D

It makes me neglect the housework and also, I am behind with the washing and ironing (but I cant get it dry this weekend anyway.)
