I had to a bit of credit card shuffling the other day. I had received some Virgin c/c cheques in the post and was going to pay one of these into my bank accounts to pay off some debts. Weird or what???
I went to the bank and was accepted for a 10k CC, but chose to get it online as the offer was better - advance CC - 5.5 for life of balance as suppose to 6.9% in the bank. I got rejected, which the ladies in the bank as well as me found really weird - due to the fact that my bank credit score approved my application for…

Morgan Stanley Cash Back
Hi Everyone, I received my MS statement and noticed that the cash back amount is not the same as the extra cash back. You may all be aware that MS are paying 1% cashback and an additional 1% on the first £2000. The amounts should therefore be the same. The difference is due to my last 2 transactions on the statement not…

Old TSB Trustcard query
Having a reshuffle and I intend to close my old TSB Trustcard that I never use. I only held onto it for sentimental reasons as it was the first card I got accepted for. Anyway, I still have 1200 points on my account and wondered if I can still use them beneficially before I close the account, or if this scheme…

Use 2 credit cards or 1?
I'm a student, so obviously debt is a big issue. In order to help myself out a bit, i tend to put as much of my expenditure as possible onto a credit card, leaving the cash to cover it in savings until it's time to pay the balance in full. Until recently I have used my Egg card to spend on, despite having a Barclaycard as…
