I had to a bit of credit card shuffling the other day. I had received some Virgin c/c cheques in the post and was going to pay one of these into my bank accounts to pay off some debts. But for some reason I thought I would phone them up to arrange a balance transfer.
To my delight, they quoted me an interest rate of 1.9% APR until April 2006. If had have used the cheques, the interest rate would have been the standard ?14.9% APR or thereabouts!
Don't know if this has already been discussed, but just thought I would share it with you.

Did they charge you a BT fee?
If so, was it the standard 2% (max £50)?0
