Old TSB Trustcard query

Having a reshuffle and I intend to close my old TSB Trustcard that I never use.

I only held onto it for sentimental reasons as it was the first card I got accepted for. :rolleyes:

Anyway, I still have 1200 points on my account and wondered if I can still use them beneficially before I close the account, or if this scheme died a death ages ago and they are now of no use?

Needless to say I can't find anything of relevance on the LloydsTSB site.

Anyone have any idea?

I know nothing about it but, if they were changing the Terms of the points scheme or winding it down completely you should have been informed, I take it the card is still active and you do receive correspondence about it?

I'd call them and if you get no joy write (or email if you can find an address)

Thanks Gal. Yes the account was still active and I still get letters/new replacement cards when the old ones expire.

I've just found some info on another site where users were asking the same question. Upshot was that the points could be used for discounts on purchases but you do have to spend to save, if you know what I mean.

No intention of spending at the mo' so I've just closed the account. Absolutely no interest in offering any deal or better rate to stay a customer unfortunately. I could have done with a nice BT rate.
