What are my rights?
Hi everyone, first post here, be gentle with me! My youngest at Primary School was offered the opportunity to receive music lessons at school provided by the Education Authority in September. The information sent home with her was a leaflet outlining that there was a cost to rent the instrument, and there was no other…

Leaking conservatory in new build developer not answering email anymore
Hello, We bought our home as a new build 5 years ago. The conservatory came as part of the property but has been leaking ever since we moved in. The property developer put us in touch with their contractor who oversaw the built. They came to fix the problem more time than we can remember over the last 5 years yet the…

Can company selling goods (bottled water) via regular delivery increase prices w/out giving notice?
I have a water cooler rented from a company. The company delivers bottled water refills to me every 2 weeks. I do not have to order it; the delivery man turns up regardless and swaps any empties for full ones. I receive an invoice every month. I am a private, retail consumer, i.e. not a business customer. I do not have a…

Hello All New to this so please forgive me if I have posted incorrectly. I am in dispute with THE RANGE concerning an order placed on-line. My order was for x6 Brown mugs; I received x3 Brown and x3 Green. The Range have told me that although they accept that their warehouse selected the wrong colour (ie Green), their…

Losing no win, no fee & having to pay
My mother in law was contacted by a no win, no fee place following a bump. It went to court yesterday and she lost the case with the judge citing fundamental dishonesty. The result is a £13k bill and her solicitor saying they're not liable for the costs. This surely cant be correct considering it was no win no fee?

Wrongly refunded by energy company. Now chasing money I haven’t got!
Hi - I wonder if anyone can help or advise? I was notified that I was being refunded £483 “credit” I’d built up in my account by Eon in January. I IMMEDIATELY phoned them and told them not to refund as I needed the cushion and couldn’t afford to get into debt. The woman said she’d stop it and keep my direct debit as it…

Vehicle issue
Hi We just collected our car after it was misdiagnosed as the clutch needing replacing. However it was not the issue and it was a leak above the clutch, which is covered under Kia warranty. The clutch was low but had plenty of miles left as only 48,000. We payed £412 for the clutch and the Kia service manager offered us…

Complaint about VW T-Roc
Hello all! On opening the bonnet on my 18 month on VW T-Roc and lifting the lever that holds it up by 30cm, it snapped off its connection. VW are telling me this isn’t covered under warranty and will cost £850 to repair! I’ve complained to customer care and now escalated it to the case manager. Surely an 18 month old car…
