Just ordered a new car which was a limited edition of 500. It has since been put into ‘full production’. Where do I stand?

Is the full production run exactly the same as the one you have ordered? I would take it that you would get something to prove it is a limited edition of 500.
Car manufactures are always doing limited editions of cars in full production. Usually have different spec.Life in the slow lane1 -
I remember sitting in a dealership when a new limited edition came out. A guy was removing the old limited edition name sticker and putting the new name sticker on !
