Just ordered a new car which was a limited edition of 500. It has since been put into ‘full production’. Where do I stand?

Why have you posted the same thing 2 hours later...
Your old post wasn’t limited edition..,0 -
If you're worried about it, what cancellation rights do you have in the contract?0

Is the full production run exactly the same as the one you have ordered? I would take it that you would get something to prove it is a limited edition of 500.
Car manufactures are always doing limited editions of cars in full production. Usually have different spec.
What car are we talking about?Life in the slow lane0 -
It’s the Toyota CHR Orange edition. I ordered three weeks ago as a limited edition of 500 with top spec. Yesterday on the Toyota Facebook page they put on a post that it is no longer limited edition but in full production. When I questioned this twice, my posts were removed. They have now removed their own post stating that it’s no longer a spy edition. I have called my dealership, and they are going to get back to me. I have screenshots of the conversation and their advertising stating ‘limited to 500’

Anyway, I found this on a car thing:
Building on the Excel spec, the Orange Edition is finished in Scorched Orange, has a black roof and matte black 18-inch alloy wheels. It also comes with a JBL premium sound system and packs the 2.0-liter powertrain. Production is limited to 500 units and pricing starts at £32,585 ($41,984/€37,812).
Is the 'Orange edition' now a general release thing, or is the car available in orange with different specs?
if it IS no longer limited, what do you want, them to make it limited again? How much did you value having a car only 499 other people have? I'm not sure how much weight limited edition means anyway, I see it used constantly across all products, make up, cereal, it all ends up being released generally if it proves popular.0 -
Why have you posted this twice, two hours apart?
