Leaking conservatory in new build developer not answering email anymore

Hello,
We bought our home as a new build 5 years ago. The conservatory came as part of the property but has been leaking ever since we moved in. The property developer put us in touch with their contractor who oversaw the built. They came to fix the problem more time than we can remember over the last 5 years yet the problem persists to this day. The company has become harder and harder to reach. They came for the last time in the middle of last summer and the issue reappeared soon after. I have now been sending emails every other week over the past few month as well as trying to reach them by phone a couple of time with no answer or call back.
We are getting worried knowing that the 5 year warranty has now elapsed. Could this be a factor despite the fact the problem was never fixed?
Would anyone have an idea of steps we could take if any?
Kind regards,
Jean

What paperwork do you have? I've not come across a new build that was built with a conservatory so I'm not sure what the rules are but generally conservatories are considered temporary outbuildings and not subject to building regs. Is it possible that it's not properly covered in the same way the main house is?
As far as steps are concerned, I would write to the developer to ask them to come out and address the problem, and see what they say. If the warranty doesn't cover the conservatory you'll have to get a local firm in to address the leak.0 -
Is it covered by a Nhbc guarantee?0
