Guarantee ownership
I am selling something on eBay. It will be quite expensive and lots of people are asking if I have original receipt. Does the guarantee/warranty belong to the original purchaser or the item, i.e. if I sell this item and send the proof of purchase, which is a store statement, will the shop honour it?

Currys took payment but no computer in stock
I paid for a desk top computer at my local currys - they didn't have one in stock but contacted another store and said they would ask for one to be reserved there for me to collect. When does 7 days per DSR start?
Does the 7 day period start on the day of actual delivery, or on the day of first attempted delivery? I have had something at the RM delivery office for 8 days now, but I have changed my mind and intend to send back immediately after I pick it up. I was wondering if I am still covered under DSR?

Is the Charity site a con?
I went onto an online charity auction site a couple of days ago and bid on two items. I waited for an email so I could pay but nothing came so I emailed them. I…

receiving payments from overseas clients
A potential client from Russia is interested in 2 vans from my van conversion company. I'm wary of customers from certain countries, including Russia, given many businesses' entanglement with the Russian !!!!!, so I don't want to take any risks but at the same time it would be crazy to turn this business prospect down. So…

Virgin Active demanding money after cancelling membership
Hi. Back on 27/10/12 I went to my local Virgin Active Health Centre and told them of my wish to cancel since I was never going and spending £49.95 each and every month for no reason (which you have probably heard dozens of times). I completed all the relevant forms and was told that I required notice and that November…

Consumer rights - purchasing supplies for a horse! Please help!
Hi all - the stables where I keep my horse is changing their pricing structure so that going forward (from 1st March) we are having to buy all our straw, haylage etc rather than having it all included in our package. This in itself isn't a problem but the owner of the stables is saying that we have to purchase any items…
