receiving payments from overseas clients

A potential client from Russia is interested in 2 vans from my van conversion company. I'm wary of customers from certain countries, including Russia, given many businesses' entanglement with the Russian !!!!!, so I don't want to take any risks but at the same time it would be crazy to turn this business prospect down.
So my question is: what's the best way to receive payment without risking clawback by banks/authorities in the event - unlikely, but I can't risk it - that the money received isn't clean? Is a bank clearing house (which would take a percentage - around 2%) the only answer?
Thanks
Bertie
PS - sorry, I'm at a loss to explain why every time I write 'm-a-f-i-a' it comes up as !!!!!

The only way I would do it is with cash and even then I would be very wary of forgeries.Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring0

Banks are very suspicious of cash - especially for large sums. And as you say, it can be dirty.0
