When does 7 days per DSR start?

Does the 7 day period start on the day of actual delivery, or on the day of first attempted delivery?
I have had something at the RM delivery office for 8 days now, but I have changed my mind and intend to send back immediately after I pick it up. I was wondering if I am still covered under DSR?

It doesn't matter how long the delivery takes, or how long it take you to pick the item up from the delivery office.
The 7 day period begins the day after you actually receive the goods.
From the reg's.(2) Where the supplier complies with regulation 8, the cancellation period ends on the expiry of the period of seven working days beginning with the day after the day on which the consumer receives the goods.0 -
Assuming the receiver had been properly notified of their cancellation rights. If not then it is up to 3 MONTHS and 7 working days.

Haha yes I have.
Although it depends how you define properly informed... They did say the product must be unused and as delivered. In my case it will be, so no arguments (hopefully)... But not what the DSR say!0
