TJ Hughes purchase

Hi,
I have brought a bed and mattress (memory foam) from TJ Hughes online, the mattress and bed were both ordered from a 3rd party supplier - Sleep Design but through TJ Hughes.
Received both items in 9 days and as instructed I had to leave the mattress to air for 3 days as it was vacuum packed.
After 3 days, I built the bed arranged to remove the old one and all sorted. However after a day or two I then decided to double check the memory foam depth and it turns out that it had come short. Emails to TJ Hughes and Sleep design, and Sleep Design have admitted that it’s a fault and it needs to be sent back.
Here's the problem. Sleep Design said they want me to send the mattress back to inspect it (even when they have seen the photos). Once inspected they will send out a new mattress - which has to again air for 3 days - leaving me without a mattress for potentially 12 days.
Back to TJ Hughes, they said that they can pick up the mattress to return it and refund me as soon as they pick it up so I can go out and buy another mattress because TJ Hughes don’t stock this mattress and they couldn't order one in from Sleep Design because they would have to pay for it.
No one at both companies can seem to understand that I will be left without a mattress, the fault has been identified on photos and a new mattress will be sent out anyway.
Where it stands now TJ Hughes have gone back to Sleep Design to discuss the matter and how much the refund will be. I've had the manager from TJ Hughes on the phone and I just think the customer service is awful. Any ideas where else I can go on this one?

Take the refund fron TJ's and buy a mattress from a shop that has stock in so you can have it that day.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0
