HSBC £125 switcher offer - can the account now be closed?
I recently did an HSBC switch for the £125 offer which has now been credited. Does anyone know if it's now ok to switch to RBS for the £100 offer or does the HSBC account need to stay open for a certain minimum period? Thanks!

Closing 10+ year old bank account
Thanks in advance for all the suggestions. I have been banking with HSBC for 10+ years and recently opened a Natwest account. I find that the Natwest app has budgeting features which is very useful, which HSBC doesn't. I would like to move all my DD to Natwest. One way to do this is to request a bank account switch which…

Get free cashback from shops after Brexit
This is a very good idea. Typical type of over bearing EU rule which does nothing useful. It will keep cash flowing in the shops and allow those that want cash easy access to it.

My parents in June sold their house in France. The French Notaire was hacked and their house sale money was transferred to a UK Bank account not in their name and obviously not theirs! Bank Account That Allows Ring-Fencing
Is there a bank account that allows users to divide up money in an account into separate pots? Currently I am saving for a few different things and I have created separate bank accounts for each, which is becoming a pain. It would be far easier if I could have just 1 account but be able to 'ring-fence' into sections

Santander - misleading phone number for customers - be warned
I tried to contact Santander online to close an old current account I don't use. The webchat is hopeless as it doesn't understand what I wanted to do so I tried calling the 0800 123123 as shown online. The message told me I was to call 0900 1231234 and indicated that calls are charged at 65p a minute. Outrageous.
