Bear in mind that the vouchers are cancelled if you close or downgrade the Club Lloyds account.

What happens if you have already used the vouchers to pre-book tickets online, then once you've booked, close or downgrade the account? Will your booking become invalid?

Not if you've already used them to book.
  • Has anyone bothered to complain about losing out with the cinemas being closed & did you get a positive outcome?

We get a few tickets & 6 of them have just expired. We always use all of them but with the cinemas being shut down and many films that we were going to see not being released, we never got to use them.

No need to complain just ring them and they will extend the use of the tickets. Simple!

    I've checked, still nothing.
the e-mail says i have untill 19th to "select" which lifestyle benefit I want. well i've done that, does that mean on the 19th, they will send them or what?
regarding them being cancelled, is that right? surely once you have the tickets, they will be valid for a year? i'm just planning on selling them on ebay anyway

I seem to remember ours took about a month to arrive.
The tickets are a benefit of holding the account. If you no longer hold the accoiunt then you no longer get the benefit hence they cancel any unused tickets. If you've sold them on eBay then you'll have a very unhappy buyer who'll be after a refund if they've not used all the tickets before you close your a/c.

I don't think they will cancel them, I just can't see it. I had a club lloyds account years ago, and chose a free magazine. I cancelled the account just afterwards, but the magazines kept coming. I got sick of them coming, was a bit embarrassed to be receiving copies of "mens health" every month, after reading half of the first one I realised it was the biggest load of rubbish on this earth!
anyway I tried to cancel, but had forgotten my login details to the lifelstyle benefit site and was locked out. I then moved house, and annoyingly they followed me, something to do with my mortgage being with halifax and they are linked to lloyds. I can't remember how long they came for, but it was over a year at least!
and anyway, if they are free and I sell them, then the buyer complains i'll just have to refund them, nothing to lose
