Pay it into your account?1 -
Easiest way is through your own bank. Unfortunately US $ cheque processing is a cumbersome and drawn out process. Can take many weeks if it's drawn on some regional bank outfit in the back of beyond.1

If you have a good credit file at your bank they may exchange the cheque for you and you would get the funds within a week - if your record is not so good they would send it for collection - 6 weeks at least to wait.0 -
Also, check the bank charges for clearing a non sterling cheque , I found there was a great difference when I asked two different banks that I had accounts with.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. There's a few threads about people trying to cash US stimulus cheques in recent weeks, which might be worth searching for and having a read. The consensus is that there isn't really a cheap way to do this, so check your bank(s) for how much they are going to charge before you deposit it and use whichever has the lowest fees.1
