My 90 year old friend has an account with Lloyds TSB which is paying a measly 0.1%. Can anyone recommend something better. It can't be internet only or have a monthly banking requirement. Lloyds have 'kindly' put her onto a Platinum account so she pays £15 a month for all the benefits that she''ll never use.
