I hope this is the right place to ask this. I was just wondering if anyone knew if there is a specific time in the 24 hour day that internet banking updates?
I've always assumed this is done once a day but perhaps someone can confirm that.
Many thanks for any replies!

Who do you bank with?
For Natwest & RBS it's between 2-3am and Halifax 3-4am. I think A&L is around 5am.0 -
Thank you
I am with First Direct and use the plus service they provide to access my A&L account.Leason learnt :beer:0 -
I am with Lloyds and my online banking is either updated several times a day or it is updated at different times of the day.
My tax credit money is in my account 11.30 Wednesday evenings, my family allowance goes into my account Sunday afternoons. If i pay money into my account via the post office it goes in more or less 24 hours after i have put it in whatever time that was. If i withdraw, its taken out immediately. The only exception is weekends. MrJudi puts my housekeeping into my account Friday evenings/Saturday mornings and it wont transfer till the Sunday (the same time as my family allowance goes in). If i go to the bank to pay money in or withdraw it, it updates immediately. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. The computer system updates overnight during the week, and during the weekend - times can vary, but usually a during Sunday. Credits are updated before debits. So, if you are expecting a credit during a week day other than a Monday, it will show on the computer some time during the evening/night before, as the overnight credit and debits are updated on computer system (this is usually any time from 8pm ish). If you are expecting a credit on a Monday, this will show on the on line system on a Sunday. Hope that makes some sense.0
