Bank Travel Insurance
We are a retired couple taking lots of holidays, and we use my Lloyds TSB gold account travel insurance for which I have to keep £2,000 in the account in order not to pay charges. My calculation is that if I got 5% interest on my £2,000 less tax at 20% it costs me £80 per annum for the two of us, and insures us up to age…

A & L rejection and alternatives?
A friend recently applied online for a Premier Direct Current account, but got a quick rejection saying that they couldn't offer her that one, but would let her have a current account. I guess this rules out the referral for both of us, which would have been nice, but, more importantly, she wanted a bank account that would…
