Bank Charges - What do I do Next?

I have sent the Data Protection letter to my local branch on the 8th of September along with the £10 cheque. The Cheque was cashed two week later and I still haven't heard anything from the bank.
Should I be sending them another letter or should I ring the bank?
Thanks in advance

30 days hath September ...
So 30-8 = 22
22 + 10 = 32.
So that means they haven't breached the 40 day limit yet.
Have patience.
