Stick with BT Fibre or jump to EE ??
Having been paying far too much to BT for my fibre broadband, inclusive calls and line rental (Over £60 for infinity 2), I have been negotiating with them but also looking elsewhere. I'm down to 2 options: 1/ Stay with BT who are now offering me £10 for 52Mb (infinity 1), £6.50 inclusive calls and £18.99 line rental (12…

Nowtv new Kids pack only £2.99 a month
Hi, For anyone who wants to entertain the kids over the summer the Sky nowtv kids pass costs £2.99 a month. I signed up to this as I feel its good enough value, though a lot of complaints on NOWtv community from people who have the entertainment pass and the kids pass was siphoned off. Still £2.99 a month seems ok, did try…

Plus NET or BT?
Hi All Due to move into our 1st home, we can only have ADSL. Plus Net are doing fibre broadband 24-32meg at £31.98 p/m but BT are doing infinity 2 upto 52meg for £29.98 per month. So my question goes is it worth going with BT for the extra speed (is it guaranteed?) even if plus net leases lines from them? Thanks

Talktalk broadband outages
My aunt is having issues with her Talktalk broadband. She moved house and basically trying to save money got Talktalk broadband as they were offering cheap calls, free install (it had Virgin previously) and Quidco. I did warn her that they had poor customer service. Their broadband regularly goes down for up to a couple of…

BT Internet - New home
I have just got off the phone with BT who have said that they can only offer speeds of 1-3MB in our new house, which we are due to move into next week. They say that as the cabinet is full and all cables are being used, there is no guarantee as to when we can get BT infinity back (currently enjoy speeds of 30MB+ in our…

Be wary of Talk Talk special offers
I followed an MSE tip entry last month, and switched from Sky to Talk Talk. It promised £50 bill credit and £75 love2shop voucher. TalkTalk said they couldn't keep my Sky phone number for some reason, but went ahead with the switch. (I accepted this, since, it didn't seem there was much that I could do about it, and they…

overcharged for vodafone dongle use
Hi, I've had a Vodafone dongle for twelve months that I use to access the internet from home on my laptop. For about £21 a month I get 10GB of data, if I exceed that there's a charge. I've always been very careful not to exceed my download limit as I am on a very limited income. Last month I received a bill for just over…

I would quite like to purchase a good and cheap router off ebay which has good WIFI range for an old house. I was thinking of a BT homehub as they made a lot of fuss about these being good. Any recommendations ? It's just for 7Mbps broadband

Best broadband provider in Hastings/St. Leonards?
Hi. Calling out to residents of the above for any ideas based on their experiences. I've been burned before (BT, but that was years ago, although they still seem to get really hateful reviews now) and when you look at online reviews, almost every provider gets terrible ratings. The thing with that is that it usually varies…
