I haven't been anywhere near the EE site and haven't signed up for anything. I can't seem to contact EE unless I have an account. Most site have a phishing report address but I can't seem to find anything. Do I just ignore this and it will go away?
The email looks Ok. It is from
no-reply <no-reply@id.ee.co.uk>
and the clickable link goes to
https://myaccount.ee.co.uk/id/?action=verifyEmail&verification_code=(with a series of numbers and letters)
Any ideas please

Have you tried calling 0800 956 6000? Either that or pop into an EE shop.

If your email is a name + number type it seems probable that somebody used your email in error to register assuming the email address and link were indeed what you say and not spoofed.

Simplest option is to ignore it then there will be no confirmation and I would assume the incomplete account would eventually be deleted. Alternately the person may correct the email to their own.

Thanks for the comments. Rang EE on the number you gave mije. They have no record of anything on my postcode so told to just ignore.
