Post Office say the line is working fine and we used it…

Plusnet - are they for real?
Received a junk letter from them, but addressed directly to my address and with my name on it. Happy days. I do want fibre optics, but I am pretty sure that it is not available in my area. Well, let's read the letter further: Wait.... Do you not know my location already when sending the letter to my exact address? And why…

Getting money back from TalkTalk?
Hi, Just after a wee bit of advice to see if there is anything else I can do to reclaim the money that TalkTalk took from my bank account after I cancelled my service and moved to another provider? I didn't think to cancel the direct debit until I realised that three further monthly charges had been taken after the MAC…

Virgin Media website not recognising my flat in postcode checker
I'm in the process of moving house and am finally moving to a cabled area so am looking to get a Virgin Media connection. To add to the attraction, the cashback website I use offers a £160 discount over the life of my Virgin Media contract (£40 credit on first bill, and £10 a month for 12 months). I will be moving into a…

Broadband with free international phone calls to Hong Kong & China
Hi, I'm currently on an old Orange Unlimited Broadband package which allows free anytime phone calls to UK landline and 100 International countries (inc. HK and China) fro £24.99. TalkTalk: Attempt to mis-sell Mega Download Boost
:eek:At the end of April, I received a letter from TT beginning, "Just to let you know, you're over your download limit..." This letter stated that the generous allocation of 40GB had been over used in March and May - nearly double each month. It explained that 40GB is enough for 55 movies, 900 albums and hours of online…

Getting out of a TalkTalk Broadband Contract - £70?
I keep seeing mentions of being able to leave an 18 month TalkTalk broadband contract at a charge of £70. Is this still possible? Is this just a one-off fee and you're out full stop, or do you also have to pay the monthly bill for those months remaining on your contract? Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks.

Plus net more like Minus net
I have been trying to sign up to a Plus Net fiber broadband deal at £16.49 per month and £50 set up fee. Now I am a principalled person, and irrational as it may be one of my principals is never to pay a set up fee. We signed an 18 month deal elsewhere for the phone so cannot get the discount. However I have been told that…

We have recently left talk talk. We waiting until our 2 year contract was up and then migrated to BT. We now have a £125 bill from talk talk as a termination fee. I tried to book online a phone/broadband package with TalkTalk and the end of April but for some reason it wouldn't let me so I gave up. What are BT playing at?
Having moved into a new place a few months ago I waited until the infinity package was available until I ordered broadband. I tried to do it on-line but a postcode for a previous address wasn't recognised on the BT order site so I had to order by phone, I hate using the phone to speak on especially with speech problems,…
