Plus net more like Minus net

I have been trying to sign up to a Plus Net fiber broadband deal at £16.49 per month and £50 set up fee. Now I am a principalled person, and irrational as it may be one of my principals is never to pay a set up fee.

We signed an 18 month deal elsewhere for the phone so cannot get the discount. However I have been told that I can get referred and get 3 months free. 3*£16.49= £49.47 which is close enough for me.
First off I tried doing this through Quidco, then TopCashBack. The promo code failed on both. So I cleared all my cookies and try again only now the promo section does not appear. The live chat gives me an 0800 number to call, where by I am told that the 3 months free does not apply to fiber.

Now I've got a dilemma. Loose all my principles and go with them anyway, or sign up with them but at the slower speeds, or go with someone else. I cannot stay with Be as for the last 2 months they have been giving us dial up speed internet connections, compared to the 12MB we used to get. 5-6 hours of phone calls, and countless emails failed to resolve the problems so I have to leave them. I need a new ISP ASAP, but am thinking fiber as Im worried our line may be at fault and take months to fix.

Any advice?
Thanks Alex

Firstly is your exchange enabled for fibre, and can you actually get it on your number?

Secondly changing ISP will not cure the problem if your slower speed is due to a line fault, you need to find what is causing it and get that fixed first.

    Yes we are Fiber enabled.

I do not know it is a line fault, it is just my guess. Be seem to think we have perfectly functioning internet. Yet I get dropped from the connection 2-3 times per day, and have to wait 2 mins for a 5 min 360p youtube video to load. It has been like this for 2 months.

I tried them for 4-6 weeks before paying £72 to get shot of them.

Absolutely dreadful. Constant disconnections of internet. On switching back to BT.....totally flawless.

You get what you pay for.

If only I can talk to someone at BT who speaks English ??????
