Hi, I have recently noticed tiny orange spots all over my car. I dont think they were there a few months ago. Since I noticed them, I have had my car cleaned at a hand car wash and still they are there. I tried myself using car shampoo locally on the spots and they are not coming off. I am not sure what they could be -…

Price comparison sites - do you then go to the cheapest insurer's site to confirm?
When I use a comparison site, it throws up a bunch of companies I've never heard of. So I find the cheapest quote from a company I recognise/are happy doing business with then go direct to them and do it all again. Am I mad to do this? I feel like I might get a better price doing so.

Anybody used scrapcarcomparison.co.uk?
Hi all, Just a quick question. Just wondered if anybody has used scrapcarcomparison.co.uk in selling their cap for scrap/salvage? Overall reviews on Trustpilot, etc. seem to be fine but I am still slightly wary after having contact with them this week where they have offered me significantly more for my non-runner vehicle…

Does AutoAid help if no spare tyre?
Does anyone have experience of AutoAid helping with repairing a tyre if there is no spare? I am 80 years old and could not cope with these new-fangled puncture repair kits. And I am worried about having no spare wheel (although I could not change it anyway). I read everything about AutoAid on their website but the info…

PCP Car Loan
I was with my wife today and we rushed into a PCP car loan agreement. On reflection, it was a bad deal for us. I remember the car salesman said, we have a 14-day cooling-off period. After reading the agreement at home, we do have a 14-day cooling-off period, but she is still liable for the cost of the car's value if she…

Returning a car.
We purchased a 3yr old Kia Sportage diesel mild hybrid from a dealership 25 days ago (cash sale). The T&C's said we can return the car within 14 days if we didn't like it, and 30 days if there was a fault. 10 days ago we were driving down the M9, and the car did, what I can only describe as randomly rebooting itself whilst…
