Anybody used scrapcarcomparison.co.uk?

Hi all,

Just a quick question. Just wondered if anybody has used scrapcarcomparison.co.uk in selling their cap for scrap/salvage? Overall reviews on Trustpilot, etc. seem to be fine but I am still slightly wary after having contact with them this week where they have offered me significantly more for my non-runner vehicle than others. As far as I can tell, they are basically a third party company with a 'network' of salvage/scrap companies that they can access. They have said that the offer I have is higher than others as the company is looking to repair and sell the car rather than scrap- but something seemed off with the interaction where the caller was strongly pushing me to commit immediately. Not sure if that is just their style or if there is something fishier going on. It was all a bit odd but if they are genuine, I want to take them up on the offer as I can double my money!

I've dealt with them and they're pushy, keep calling daily until they give up, and their offers are low.

I scrapped a car for double their offer.

I sold a car to scrapcarnetwork.org. The price was good and they collected. The collection was very late and communication was poor.
