Chip ISA problem
Tempted by the Chip cash Isa offer, I downloaded the app, but have found it impossible to prove my identity. It suggests my driving licence (though spells licence incorrectly) but when I try to use this option, my android phone says the app has a bug in it and Chip need to sort it. I've tried messaging them to try to get…

£20k per year?
Hi, I keep reading you can save £20k in an ISA per year. Does that mean for 24/25 I can put in another £20k into a cash ISA, in addition to the £20k I already have in there which was paid in during 23/24? Or is £20k the most you are allowed to keep in the ISA account? If so why do they use the ‘per year’ wording?

What is the interest on matured ISA’s
Hello, I have a question around matured ISA’s. I understand that you can put £20,000 in an ISA each year and that you can transfer matured ISA’s into one place. Is it just the first £20,000 that earns the interest and / or does the matured ISA’s earn interest as well? e.g. 2023 / 2024 £20,000 (matured) 2024 / 2025 £20,000…

LISA calculation of property value for shared ownership property
I'm currently in the process of purchasing a shared ownership property. I have a question in terms of how you calculate the 'full sale price' to see if it is under £450,000 and therefore eligible for the LISA bonus. In the GOV.UK Conveyancers: Lifetime ISA technical
guidance it states that: “A Lifetime ISA investor can…

Lifetime ISA withdrawal when non-resident over 60
As I understand, if I hold a LISA and cease to be a UK resident, I cannot continue to add to it, but can leave it where it is. If I leave it where it is until I am 60 and then withdraw, are there any penalties on the UK side? For example, if one were a tax resident in a country with no CGT at the time of withdrawing (and…

Apologies if this comes across as a silly question but I've recently received an inheritance and would like to put £9000 into a junior ISA for each of my children. NEW ISA Rule 2024
Hi, can you save with multiple providers of 2024/25 Cahs ISA? For example. You save 5000 with one bank cash ISA and save another 15000 with another bank cahs ISA. Both added same or less than 20000 limit. I think HMRC allows save same type ISA with different providers from 2024? Thanks

Any point in staying with Hargreaves Lansdown for my ISA? Trading212 looks cheaper
If you read Stocks & shares ISAs: find the best platform - MSE (moneysavingexpert.com), it has trading212 under "Lower fees, but less established platforms", and HL under "Higher fees, but more established platforms". Does how established a platform is really matter? You investments are ring-fenced anyway. All I want to do…
