My sons CTF is due to be paid out in July 2024,
He asked me to look at the balance, Barclays prosper.
Value put in £250.00
Balance today £255.62
After 18 years this Balance must be wrong.
What or who do I contact to check this out.?

I am afraid that is likely to be correct, it is a rather rubbish fund. Here is a thread from some years back where it was suffering significant losses.

The fact sheet does not really tell you much about previous performance but after fees there was zero gain in the last 5 years.

It's unlikely that Barclays have made a mistake - presumably the fund has just performed (very) poorly, unfortunately.
From the info on the following link, it looks like the CTF is actually with One Family and that they only send you a statement annually if you've contributed to it during the previous year, which would explain why you've been unaware of how badly it was performing.
The link also includes some contact info for enquiries.

Thank you. It just was strange as his brothers pay out last year was £1400 same trust.0
