removing phone line from contract
I have FTTP from Hyperoptic plus a phone service from them. I enquired about moving the phone service from them, and was told in chat that this could be done with no fee to me, and in fact a reduction in cost of £4 a month (I am still trying to get a copy of that chat, which is taking longer than I would expect). But when…

You Fibre claiming my Virgin Media service will decline, so I need to sign up with them
I got home from work in the evening & had been back for only a couple of minutes when a cold-caller from You Fibre knocked on my door. I'm autistic & sometimes cant process lots of information quickly, especially if I'm tired, so I can't remember some of the details but it was to do with Virgin Media planning to change how…

How can broadband providers justify annual price increases ?
I have been shopping around for broadband providers and have noticed that a lot of them state an annual price increase of about 15%. eg. BT £4 per month each successive year. How can they justify that amount given that UK inflation rate is much lower?

Holbeach Cable theft, any contact from BT?
After a major cable theft (2km) in mid-January from a rural area outside Holbeach Lincs., we were among 2500 premises without phone or broadband for 5 days, some were out of contact longer. Original calls to our provider, BT, (for which we had to drive out of the village to get a mobile signal) were met with automated…

The total cost of BT
This is kind of ancillary to my previous question BT have offered me Fibre 2 for £27.99 and Unlimited Minutes for £12. Am I correct that these are unlimited landline phone minutes ? Is there going to be any other hidden cost such as line rental ?

Virgin media not providing the services stated.
I switched from sky broadband when my contract finished and price went up. In looking for a new supplier I found VM to be reasonably priced for a faster speed, however what sealed the deal for me was the in depth parental controls offered. Specifically the ability to pause the internet on specific devices and the ability…

Is BT correct ?
I currently use BT for landline only and Plusnet for Broadband. BT have just sent me a letter claiming that "you can no longer take broadband and landline from different providers" due to digital upgrade. ". . . you'll need to switch to BT Broadband etc etc" Is this true or is it a sales pitch?
