Newbie looking at ISA stocks and Shares
I'm one of the many people who will be affected by the changes of ISA savings amounts for saving in April 2027. I therefore thought I would invest £500 this year as a trial run. I have put the rest into a Trading 212 cash ISA this April 2026. I have never invested in Stocks and Shares so am not sure where to start. I did…

HSBC issues with transferring in ISA
I have opened the new HSBC Fixed Rate Cash ISA and asked to transfer in my Nationwide Cash ISA. For some unknown reason, HSBC haven't been able to transfer this yet and don't know why. I pointed out the 15-day window has passed and complained. Please note that Nationwide confirmed they did receive the transfer request but…

Santander Fixed ISA
Hi, I wasn't planning to go with a fixed but I have emergency funds and worst case, I withdraw it and lose £300 in fees. Interest rate is 4.5% and a £50 Amazon voucher. I have some questions though - Is it completely online? As in I can set it up online and fund it from another bank account online? Although the interest is…

Santander Fixed ISA eVoucher offer
It looks like there are a few here who are familiar with the current deal. I have a hypothetical question about it. I know Santander run these kinds of offers regularly. Does anyone know roughly how long they run before they're pulled? Perhaps all of April for example, to entice a large ISA instake? Or perhaps just a…

Plum App - Create Account
I've been attempting to create an account for a Plum ISA using the App for about three days. The first step is to enter your mobile number and enter a verification code sent via SMS which never arrives. The help suggests the usual things regarding mobile reception and entering the mobile number without leading zero. The…

ISA transfer experiences
My most recent experiences. First the bad and the ugly: * Monument to Santander. The request had to be made on paper, which I handed in to a friendly Santander employee in Branch. 6 weeks later, there had been nil progress as the form apparently "didn't reach the right department" (in Santander). This means I missed out on…

Flexible Cash ISAs
If someone transferred a previous years Stocks and Shares ISA of a large value (way over the £20k annual limit) to a cash ISA that offers 'flexibility', once the transfer has arrived into the cash ISA, can they then withdraw the full amount and replace it back into the cash ISA as long as it is in the same tax year? Thanks…
