Plum App - Create Account
I've been attempting to create an account for a Plum ISA using the App for about three days. The first step is to enter your mobile number and enter a verification code sent via SMS which never arrives.
The help suggests the usual things regarding mobile reception and entering the mobile number without leading zero. The chatbot eventually pushed me an issue from 20th April 2026 indicating problems with signing-up.
I also tried the email path. After a few virtual replies, I received an email admitting there was a problem. "We’re currently experiencing an issue with our OTP provider, which is impacting the sign-up process. Our technical team is actively working to resolve this, but unfortunately, we’re not able to provide a specific timeframe at the moment."
Plum have one of the best rates for a variable flexible ISAs for transfer in (can't use Trading 212 as already have an account). A bit worrying if they have such fundamental issues - should I trust them with my money?

I had no issues getting a code on the 8th April.
