    Can you access via a web browser?  If I recall they use SMS for 2FA.

  • It's obvious to me they can't deal with the amount of people that can't use the app/website to get at their money, even if they can view things it seems there's issues with transferring too.

    I can't work out the scale of the issues but it must be big.

    They did acknowledge there's issues app wise today when on phone, they also seemed to understand I need to access the app & money & that I have a lot of money with them & that they had phone issues yesterday, but still couldn't/wouldn't give me any timescale of when things are going to be resolved.

    Only timescale they gave was a reply to my complaint, so apparently that's 48hrs.

    I've managed to use their website on my pixel 7 pro phone to move money between accounts however I've repeatedly had to relogin to view accounts, get quick transfer to work etc.

    If you go to the "Payments & transfers" tab (at the top), then you should see both "Pay existing payee" (external accts) and "Transfer between my accounts" (internal accts) in the menu on the left.
  • I found a payee option not sure it always showed up tbh.

    I really need the app to start working though as website clearly doesn't work properly on my mobile.

    So we've had the new App foisted upon us overnight.
    All linked accounts disappeared,  the list of banks available to add is now shorter than before and doesn't include HSBC !
    Details on all Cards now appear in the Accounts list, why ? There's multiple links to managing card details elsewhere.
    You can't reorder the list of accounts nor hide the cards and accounts you no longer use.
    Why do they want my driving license and face recognition suddenly ?  For what purpose ? That's not explained, and I failed facial recognition.  So what can't I now do ?  Who knows ?
    No facility to have two mobile phone numbers for 2FA, so if using app on one phone it will send codes to the other phone I may not have with me !
    No ability to scan in cheques !
    Feels like app was designed by marketing team rather than customer needs...

    Just looked.  I'm still on the old app...for now😉

    I think I'll be doing my banking on the laptop once it changes.

    When the interest was added to my Santander Edge saver, I tried to transfer it to my Santander easy access account but nothing happened, the amounts in each account stayed the same.  

    I decided to try to move it by going to my online account - this time it moved immediately and it showed in the app as being moved as well. 

    Hours later, the transaction that I had made via the app also took place and so I transferred that back into to the Edge saver. 

    I have even less confidence in the app now, not that I had much to begin with since the change.
