Lots of people have mentioned this, but I for one haven't seen any plans to bring it back. It might be on the to-do list, though. Time will tell.

I posted in the wrong forum but cannot fix it.

I could not see a way to move the post to the correct forum, so I created a copy and posted it correctly. 

I cannot see how to delete the old post which I have edited. I have also changed the title to alert Admin users.

A delete button or move button seems to be missing.  If you cannot offer a delete button, perhaps because deleting replying posts is unfriendly, moving to a Deleted posts forum would be a good alternative.

how do we clear 'notifications' in inbox from others ?? i found how to clear my 'sent' messages' but can't find how to clear/delete messages received

hiya  MollyR , could i ask who you are replying to please, are you replying to me ? as i haven't asked before on this thread about new inbox/outbox notifications,
i figured out how to 'clear' my sent messages on new forum by 'leave this conversation' in sent but can't figure out how to clear new messages from others as it doesn't seem to give us an option.

No, I was replying to Natty68;  but your post was made just a fraction of a second before mine, and I hadn't seen it!  Sorry to have caused confusion.
