The strange thing about ‘leaving a conversation’ with a PM sent to you is that it still appears in the list of notifications in your profile, but when you click on it, it says ‘permission problem..you don’t have permission to do this”
A bit pointless? Just more cluttering up and more scrolling needed.

I never look at notifications, I have them all set to email so if there's anything important I'm alerted that way. Having clicked on the notifications icon I can see a load of completely useless information about who has posted where that I don't really need to know about......I'll carry on not looking at them....

I'm still getting them - and more than I actually want, until they give us the option to receive one e-mail a day.  Have you checked that your e-mail provider isn't treating them as spam?  Some ISPs's systems have mis-identified them as spam.

Don't think the spam explanation covers everything - I've definitely stopped getting my daily email, which sent me everything from my Followed (if that was the term used previously!) Forum/s; fiddled around with settings and have tried "Favouriting" the Forum/s I want to receive emails about, but still nothing. However, I've tried bookmarking individual threads, and am now getting emails about every update (mostly ones on how to work the new Forums, for the moment...). So that should work, if you're trying to follow specific threads... Until a daily email on Favourited Forums is (re)introduced I've just bookmarked in my browser toolbar the Forum/s I want to follow, and, as long as I remember to check it (daily, or whenever) that shows all the recently updated or new threads in that Forum/s...
