Is there a work round to see the forum on older I phones - mine is a 5.  Using different browsers makes no difference.

Hi
Sorry if this has already been asked. How do I set my notification preferences to just send me one weekly email about each subscribed thread (like a weekly digest) rather than send me a separate email about Every Single Post? It’s driving me potty! Thank you.
To control notifications, in your Profile, select Notification Preferences on the left, then tick or untick "Notify me when people comment on my bookmarked discussions". At present, notifications for new posts are only on or off, i.e. one e-mail per post or none at all; you cannot choose the frequency of the e-mails you receive, nor can you choose to receive them for one bookmarked topic and not another. Hopefully this will be changed as the MSE team work through the list of things which need to be fixed.

Have you checked whether your e-mail provider is marking them as spam?  Some providers are doing this, since there are so many e-mails arriving in a similar format.

I haven’t seen an answer to this yet.
Similar problem.......I have two iPads, and on one, the newer one, an Air, using iOS 10.3, I can’t get the Forum at all. Nothing.
On the other, the older one, but with the very latest iOS, (12 point something), I can only get full functionality in landscape orientation, but not in portrait, but stillhave other problems.
So, it may be some incompatibility with iOS, rather than your phone being older, but I really don’t know. Loads of people have reported similar problems.

• Can we change the colour on our devices and enlarge the text anyway?  Colour of font is making my eyes ache and it is a pain using the fingers to first expand to read a thread and then shrink it to move to another topic.  Why were the colours chosen?  I also find it odd that color does not have a red line under it but colour does.

What devices are you using?  Desktop, laptop, tablet or phone?  Which platform - Windows, Android, iPhone etc.?  This information will enable somebody using the same set-up to answer your question.  Oh, and if the forum software is American in origin, its spell-checker will also be American - maybe the team can switch this to British English, but they've got an awful lot of other things to sort out first!

I used to use
and
with copy and paste to quote part of previous posts. That doesn't work anymore. Is there something else I could use instead?

Not sure which version/browser/OS you're using but in the full desktop version of the site, there are at least two ways of doing this.

One is to select the copy/pasted text that you wish to put into a quote and to choose the 'quote' function from the 'format' button on the menu at the top of the comment editor window (between lists and emojis), although this seems a bit flaky sometimes.

Alternatively you can use the full HTML editing facility by toggling using the last button on the post editing menu, and you can then use the equivalent blockquote HTML tags to the
ones you've used previously.  The full HTML may look quite challenging for those who haven't used it before but if you're familiar with using the square-bracketed tags as above then it's not much of a jump from there....
