When posting email links, especially for competitions, there really MUST be a better way than folks having the uphill battle of learning HTML code?!  E.g.

I've just noticed that the option to jump to page 1 of a thread is only visible on a phone in landscape mode.   Just in case anyone's wondering.

Also, is there any way to see WHO has "thanked" a post (like you used to be able to).   It's handy to know, sometimes, when you've given advice etc, that maybe the person it was aimed at actually "thanked" it.   Sort of like a "read receipt".

*** Edit ***   I've just noticed that this info is available on the laptop in "hover" mode, but as you can't "hover" on a phone, is the info available there?

  • Is it possible to move the notification pop up from the bottom to the top? It's good to see it is now here, but not visually viable at the bottom of the phone screen.

The posts are so big and spread out - so much white, and the posts are very deep - I can only see 7 threads on my laptop screen.  Seems so much wasted space.

Illustration of what a pain nested quotes are. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6100108/poll-what-do-you-think-of-the-new-look-mse-forum#latest Cant link to exact post. :(

So what the hell was the point in making everyone change their passwords before the swap if you had to change them again when this version went live?  (Sorry if this has already been said, I haven't read through the posts, only just been able to log on ;-)  )

    I was thinking the same...

emojis are a bit boring :(   , and preferred to have the chance to edit posts.

not keen on it really, but things change, if I get bored of it or don’t get to like it any better I guess I won’t be here as often.

A perfect example of the problems with nested quotes. @calicocat 's post has disappeared into  that posted by @peachyprice
If you only have one level of quotes selected it looks like calicocat said nothing. Whereas her post is actually the bit "I was thinking the same..." etc. This happens if you change your mind and backspace to remove text, the cursor appears inside the quote.
My Quote setting is to not fold quotes (what an awful expression) and it seems to indent then correctly - in the editing box anyway, let's see how it looks when I post it.

Yep, that looks OK to me.
See the attached - The 107.1K Screenshot shows how my screen looks when preparing to quote. the 71.2K Screenshot shows what I see in a entered post. You do have to be mindful of how others have set up their profile when explaining things.
124.1K Screenshot shows what choosing not to fold quotes looks like to me. Still looks like @calicocat has said nothing.
