Thumbnails above one's name in a post

It's somewhat odd to be asked to draw a square box in a picture to define one's thumbnail - then to get it appearing inside a circle in a post!

If you open the forum on two different tabs, and edit your signature on one tab, whilst looking at the result on another, that works.

- I can't see how to view 'sent' private messages; they are all bundled into an inbox.  This is a problem if you want to delete some messages, normally you can delete some sent items but still retain incoming messages you might want to read again.

- how do I block all pm's and allow certain contacts?  I can't handle pm's from everyone with a parking fine and won't be answering them that way, yet I can't seem to block people...!  

- how do I add a poster to my ignore list now?

- I can't edit the sticky thread on the parking fines/tickets forum, even though I wrote it and it is not closed.  It is quite old but I have always been able to edit it regularly - vital on that board.

- on the parking fines forum we really really need post numbers on every post!  Some threads are enormous there, taking people from scam (yep, Martin's and Parliament's word) private PCN, through to beating the scumbag parking firm in court a year or more later so we need to be able to say 'that was answered in post #17 above', for example.

- how do we get rid of the column on the right, to read posts across the whole page?

- why is the font so large, I want to see lots of threads (25 or so) on page one of a forum, not just a few in huge font.  Can the sizing be changed?

Am I the only one who thinks it's a good idea not to have a direct link to the last post in a thread? This forum has always been plagued by people 'answering' questions without bothering to read the rest of the discussion.

Any way to see total thanks a user has at a glance?  Obviously not the old ones but I can't see any running total of new thanks on the new forum.

can I offer my services as a tester if there are new downloads expected? I used to be a manager of a team that ran usability tests on websites before they were launched to the public. If I can help  to reduce the number of versions needing outages to upload them, I'm more than willing to help.

I've only dipped in and out of this thread and many comments gel with my own observations, but one I haven't seen mentioned is the [New Posts] button at the top - it was one of my favourite links and appeared on every page, but now only appears on the Forum home page - not individual forums or threads.  Just adds an extra click every time you want to view the new posts.  Not only is that tiresome as a user, but must put an additional drain on forum resources, loading two pages for one page movement 'transaction'.

I also miss the BBcode style for creating posts as this has been used on many forum formats for a long time and to some of us long time forum users, made posting and selective quoting easy etc.

I was also an extensive user of the post preview hover action, last post link and I liked posts being numbered on a per thread basis, but I see that has hopefully been addressed.

Apologies if this has been covered, I have skim read but there's a lot to read.

I used to have my bookmarks set so that when coming on to MSE it would show me 50 thread titles and on some bookmarks as many as 200, there now doesn't seem to be the option to change how many threads are shown, will this feature be reinstated please?

The Delete option should come up when you click on the Gear symbol on the top right of your posts.

The one at the top is for the non-forum topics and if you click the link about looking on the forum there is an error no page.
