  • I’m getting hundreds of emails every time a new post is made on a thread I follow. I didn’t have email notifications turned on previously, and I can’t see where to turn them off now.
Click on notifications,  the bell icon at the top of the page to get into the tick boxes.  There’s a column for emails and a column for pop ups, so just untick any you don’t want.

On the Giving Up / Cutting Down Alcohol Forum Thread in Debt Free Diaries, please enable emojis to be displayed horizontally along one line, as opposed to currently where they're appearing line after line.

What are the 'points' stated on the profile screen when you click on someone's username? I have 68 of them, whatever they are.

Using a PC, there doesn't seem to be an "undo" arrow if you paste something, and there's no "advanced" version of the posting window. It seems you have to switch to HTML to use part of an earlier post, (then switch back to see the effect) which I can cope with, but may put some off.

That's why usability testing with a subset of real users (and even a subset of data) is usually done.
Supposably that is what happened. I volunteered to be in that subset of real users (which were using a datacut of the forum transferred to the new layout) but I had to withdraw due to a clash of commitments.
