The "new" badge stays there all the time if you don't open the thread. So there's gazillions of "new" threads that are actually old threads that you just haven't opened. So you can't tell at a glance what is truly new since you logged out.oli356 said:starrybee said:Sorry I've not had time to read everything but these are the three things that I immediately hated within thirty seconds of looking at the new forum:2. Click on notifications, the bell icon at the top of the page to get into the tick boxes. There’s a column for emails and a column for pop ups, so just untick any you don’t want.please-let-me-be-lucky said:I’m getting hundreds of emails every time a new post is made on a thread I follow. Using a PC, there doesn't seem to be an "undo" arrow if you paste something, and there's no "advanced" version of the posting window. It seems you have to switch to HTML to use part of an earlier post, (then switch back to see the effect) which I can cope with, but may put some off.

We all appear to be called Forumite despite me receiving an email to say I'm now a Deliciously Dedicated Diehard MoneySaving Devotee. What's the point if only I know my new rank?

Supposably that is what happened. I volunteered to be in that subset of real users (which were using a datacut of the forum transferred to the new layout) but I had to withdraw due to a clash of commitments.Owain_Moneysaver said:
That's why usability testing with a subset of real users (and even a subset of data) is usually done.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls
