Hi everyone,
I hope you are all doing well!
Thank god for payday today. No petrol in the tank and a drive to Manchester planned this weekend, it was looking more and more likely that id have to dip into savings if my boss didn't remember to pay us before the bank holiday. Thankfully, he's working ahead of schedule this month.
My 3-6 EF has been toppled up. New total: #5 £2585.04/£3000 (86.16%)
I have also added to my EF that was dipped into a month or so ago. Im topping them both up at the same time, £866.43/£1000. I am selling a bunch of stuff on eBay and any profits I'm putting into this fund to get it back to the £1000 as quickly as possible.
I hope everyone has a lovely bank holiday!

Morning Peeps..
Well I am finally on Holiday for a couple of Weeks....I still have to do my "general paid work"....but my Therapy Work, Clients and Supervision is all done for 2 weeks....
I'm off to Cornwall next Weekend to see my Brother and Family...and then on the Monday I have an Epic Day out in London planned....so I'm looking forward to my time off
I've had a think and decided that looking at a £6000 Target for me is demotivating me...It's just too big to look at....So I decided to set an Initial Target of just 1 Week's Wages which would be around £500....so that's my Initial Goal and I hope that will keep me more motivated.... Once I have met my Initial Target then I'll set another Target and move forwards...

Morning Helen,
I'm keeping well thanks.
I think you are doing the right thing to adjust your target if it's demotivating you. I'm a big fan of doing things in baby steps, it still gets you to your goal. :T
I'm thinking of your goal as a Motorway and instead of heading to the end of the motorway, you are working to one set of services at a time. :rotfl: If you're like me, I stop in almost every services en-route anyway :rotfl:
A quick calculation means that with the adjustment, you are 9% to target.....you'll be into double figures soon, keep up the good work. We are all cheering you on.
I had to post this just because you are regularly updating and cheering everyone else on, you deserve to be cheered on too.

That's a brilliant analogy, Dobbibill:T. I tend to see my own journey as a normal road (a motorway being too direct and fast for what I can cope with:o) with lots of side roads along the way. Sometimes it's necessary, if annoying, to take a detour along these side roads. With a bit of luck the detour is a short one and always rejoins the main road not too far from where we left it:j.
I'm still having probs with the multi-quote function on here (can you guess I'm not a techie?:rotfl:)
Wanted to add that the wonderful thing about this thread is that everyone is so lovely and is always there to support and cheer each other on when we are feeling a bit down or have to make one of life's detours that I was mentioning earlier:A

we can do A and B roads tooI'm still having probs with the multi-quote function on here (can you guess I'm not a techie?:rotfl:)
Tech support = click on the purple multiquote button at the bottom of each thread you want to quote, then on the last thread, also click on the normal quote button

Helen that's a really good idea to break your target down into more manageable chunks. you are always encouraging the rest of us so, good luck with this new approach to your own target, you will do it. Thanks for keeping the targets updated. XMFIT -T5 #420
