ignore unless you get a letter before , or actual court papers

Ok will do and thanks Ralph. I'll read newbies thread again when I get home .0

It doesn't say 'may' on this letter Ralph, it says 'will' . Do I go into ignore mode?
I don't see any 'will' in connection with issuing legal proceedings; it's definitely a 'may'.
The only 'will' is in the statement 'If we are forced to commence court proceedings .... we will also claim our court costs and interest .....' (who wouldn't?)
There's not much 'will' about this letter! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

The letter I received today from ZZPS states "However we will continue to pursue the matter in the absence of an contact from you" (bottom line of letter).
The 'may issue legal proceedings' is from the previous letter from VCS.
Still ignore mode?0 -

Sorry, I was reading the VCS letter.
Turning to the ZZPS letter - of course they 'will' continue to pursue - by sending you a reminder, then another, then possibly one with red print on it. It is the only way ZZPS are ever going to collect from you, by bombarding you with ever more scary demands, hoping you'll crack, but ZZPS cannot issue court proceedings, only VCS (or the landowner).
But as this is an airport case, there's very little likelihood of VCS going anywhere near a courtroom and risking their entire (airport) house of cards collapsing around their ears.
Continue to ignore ZZPS - do not ignore a LBCCC or real stamped court papers (highly unlikely to be received) from VCS.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. Thanks Umkomaas, I'll follow your (and Ralph-Y s) advice, but just to clarify the 'alleged' offence actually took place on the approach road to the airport (which for all intents and purposes as far as I can see) is a public road, not actually in the airport itself.
Doncaster airport is suffering from massive underuse and is trying to promote itself at the moment, maybe a dose of bad publicity in the local papers might force them to take action to remove these vultures?0 -
this has been an on going problem for awhile now ...... the powers that be ... notably the DVLA are just not interested ... they just want the search ££'s to !!!!inue ....
this is part of a post re JLA (Liverpool) ...... but it is the same situation
there is a little debate on the forum about how to handle PPC's who are aligned to the IPC , the standard forum advice is to do the soft appeal but not bother with the kangaroo court at IAS
my thoughts .......
The scammers that infest some of the smaller airports are in cahoots with said airports as its is a (allegedly) mutual financial arrangement ....
Go back a year or two and you would win this at a POPLA appeal ..... however in the world of PPC's they can create another trade body (the IPC) that have a (again allegedly) kangaroo court  (the IAS) The IAS seem to treat appeals as a lottery 80%+ loose irrespective of the evidence.......
you therefore can (after reading the below) choose to follow the forum advice ,and ignore .... or in IMHO do the appeals as a paper trail.
VCS did try out their first small claims court case over such ....and as predict that they pulled out before the trial ..... . They did not dare try placing this before a real judge! and have not yet tried again ..... I wounder why ?
Please do not let this put you off ..... read through some of the below for background information ....

Well I've received yet another letter from VCS today stating they have passed my 'account' on and they will not accept my appeal as it was outside the stipulated period (this despite having already received a letter from their 'debt recovery' branch).
hxxp://s1250.photobucket.com/user/MickRogSnr/media/Parking%20letter%20from%20VCS.jpg.html
This from a company that said they would reply to my first challenge within 35 days and took 68 days, then claim my appeal for a letter following the Practice Direction sent 5 days later is outside the 'stipulated period' (which I cant find on any of their replies to my original reply sent 4 days after their original 'invoice' arrived which they acknowledged).
I'm beginning to enjoy this, they don't seem to be following any of their own 'guidelines'.
I'll publish a timeline of letters if its of any interest.
Thoughts anyone?0 -
yes please

To a timeline? ok
29-05-15 Date of alleged ‘offence’

08-06-15 Date of ‘challenge/appeal’ reply (via e mail using template letter from this forum)
08-06-15 Automated acknowledgement from VCS stating we will respond within 28 or 35 days demanding certain details about the driver (via e mail)
13-08-15 Letter from VCS ‘NOTICE OF INTENDED COURT PROCEEDINGS’ (dated 66 days later received 68 days later)

hxxp://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/hh530/MickRogSnr/Parking%20invoice%202.jpg
18-08-15 Reply to letter from VCS regarding intended court proceedings asking for letter that is compliant with The Practice Direction, (again using template from forum with addition provided by HooHoo, post No 42 on this thread)
12-09-15 Letter from ZZPS demanding £150 (dated 09-09-15)
hxxp://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/hh530/MickRogSnr/Parking%20letter%20from%20ZZPS%20debt%20collectors .jpg
16-09-15 Letter from VCS stating they cannot accept my appeal as it was outside the stipulated period!
hxxp://s1250.photobucket.com/user/MickRogSnr/media/Parking%20letter%20from%20VCS.jpg.html
All the above letters are on this thread via my photobucket or are the forum templates with a few minor tweaks.
Strange that I replied to their first two letters within a week, they took nearly ten weeks to respond, then send me notification that they've passed my alleged 'debt' on after the new 'creditors' have already informed me of their involvement!
I'm beginning to think this company is making it's own rules and timescales for appeals as it goes along. I'm really tempted to write to ZZPS and VCS and say "lets not waste your time and mine with your idle threats, issue court papers now or drop your claim and b*gger off".
Any thoughts please?0
