I wouldn't know anything about that, do tell?"Don't blink. Blink and you're dead. They are fast. Faster than you can believe. Don't turn your back. Don't look away. And don't blink. Good Luck" - The Doctor.0 -

Another female gamer here. I'm 21 and started off with a SNES after watching my brothers play Super Mario Bros endlessly at home. I've had a Sega, PS1, PS2, PS3, Wii, DS, 3DS, Xbox and Xbox 360. I no longer have any of those except an Xbox 360 :P
I play things like Assassins Creed, Tomb Raider (love those series), GTA, Batman. Anything that catches my eye really and think I'll enjoy playing.
Also game a little on the PC, mainly play tycoon games and Sims 3. But I was once a long time player of a game called Puzzle Pirates which is a great mmo puzzle game.
Great to see alot of other female gamers here (:0 -

Yeah go girls
I have to admit i started with a hand held mini munchman game one xmas when i was 10.... been hooked ever since for more than 30 years:o
Spent many a 10p on ladybug and pacman, progressed to Atari and computer and then had just about every console going from a nintendo and sega to a WIIU:o
Love retro games escpecially the old sonic the hedgehog and sonic and knuckles, and road rash  I dont do fighting games as me on OH get too competitive and he doesnt like my moves :rotfl:
These days i am a fan of the lego games and have completed them all except Batman 2, awaiting Lego Marvel heros and Zelda (which i also love) on the WiiU i think - i like having a choice of consoles but probably prefer PS3 for most things and Xbox 360 for Tiger Woods golf and playing super mario on Wii U. And just about to do Baulders gate on Xbox 360 now son has downloaded this for me with his points.
Son has all the COD / Assassains creed, medal of honor /GTAs etc etc
My friend also of a certain age over 40 and a girl is a huge Final Fantasy fan and plays ma fia Wars online (Facebook) but in a huge way its a full time job i think for her...Updating .................................................

I'm gonna go game snob on you here - Facebook gamers are NOT gamers! :P
Final Fantasy counts though so I'll let her off!
(but in my opinion there hasn't been a good FF game in yeeeeeaaaars. The gameplay is dull, may as well be playing a chess! Although I do like chess)Hi. Last few Final Fantasy games haven't been turn-based at all. 12 I wasn't at all fond of - but I quite liked 13's battle system to be honest (I know it got bashed a lot for various other elements of it). Still plan to sit down one long summer and play through the entire series in order from 1 through to whatever number we're up to by then.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -
Good to see so many girl gamers on here
I been gaming since as early as i can remember! we had a Spectrum ZX in the house so loved playing Horace goes skiing, Jet Pac etc. I got a NES when it came out and would play Mario and Zelda for hours. I also had a Game boy and shared a Super Nintendo with my sister. Then moved onto PC gaming for a bit then got the PS, PS2 and now the PS3. We do have a Wii and /xbox 360 but hardly play them (our daughter loves playing on them though!)
Mainly play COD, Tomb Raider, Fallout series and Skyrim at the moment.0 -
I'm a middle aged very light weight female gamer - Lego Games, JRPGs like Dragon Quest, on the DS/PSP. I've got a Wii, but only really use it for exercise games, Just Dance etc.0

Me!
I'm a 20 year old girl gamer, play most days, usually on the xbox but i'm no stranger to PC games.
Can't even remember how i started, think it may have been pokemon that caused it when it took over the world.
I get a lot of **** about being a girl gamer, does anyone else?
The insults or marriage proposals are cringe enough (especially the 'haha you sound like a girl' ones, go figure!) But when people actually go ahead and get to had me on fb or whatever i get some hassle.
Mostly because the way i look, bleach blonde hair, fake tan, fake eyelashes, big boobs, not what people expect i suppose.
Anyway point of very long message, does anyone else feel put off by the comments they get?0 -
Female 40yr old gamer here, been gaming ever since the ZX81. Currently play LOTRO.0
