I'm 45 and love playing on the PS3. I was a mad Tomb Raider fan and that's what got me started back in 96'. I still play Tomb Raider but also other games take my interest too like The Last of Us, Uncharted and of course the COD games, played most of them. :D

Years ago when Electronic Arts were at the top of their game (pun intended) in the early 90s my gran used to love having a go on Road Rash, she was completely useless and never knew the concept of touching the controller lightly, instead preferring to careen from one shocked cow straight into a tree and back again. It was funny to watch, but she was 65+; maybe I should've stuck her on Majong or something, but that was MY game lol

(I am not saying anyone over 65 is useless at games, just that my gran was even though she enjoyed it immensely, and isn't that the point?)

She would've probably loved Skyrim; if she was still around I would've made her a mod to reset all monsters to 1 hitpoint and given her permanent levitation, so she could just fly around all day exploring.

I clearly started my online experiences way too young, think i started online gaming when i was about 10/11, but often got mistaken as much older.
  • My OH is heavily in to IL2 Stumovik Cliffs of Dover Plays on the Air Tactical Assault Group full reall server. This is on a PC.

Just lately he has left his beloved Hurricane, to give the Bristol Blenheim ago. This can be crewed by up to 3 real people. Gunner, Bombardier/Navigator or Pilot.

He was lamenting how rubbish the AI gunner was So I volunteered to stand in.

He built me a PC with decent enough specs to run the game. I absolutely love it. I am just getting in to the Navigator & Bombardier rolls too (you can change aircraft positions at will).

The ATAG is full real, which means no icons on the maps - you navigate visually or by dead reckoning (using ruler/protractor tools - it certainly keeps the old grey matter ticking over.
