    *raises hand* another one here.

I play on the PC, mostly stuff like DOD:S, L4D2, BF3. I tend to find a game I love and play it to *death* though.

Oh and I'm also a massive board game geek :D

It depends on how much you want to get back into gaming, but the mouse mentioned above is a help. If you can move your left hand enough you could get a 4 way tilt switch made up, and/or foot controls.

Thnx, it's my left hand/arm that's knacked. The right isn't much better, but can still aim/fire :D

TBH I'm so busy with other things now, I'm quite happy to take a back seat and do some of the admin stuff on the servers. Don't think I could go back to playing as much as I used to, don't think I could sit that long this days with my dodgy hips :rotfl: In fact I know I couldn't. I'll stick to admin duties :)

yes, another gamer here. And an xbox score of 65k to boot.

Have been playing games on BBC Micros and spectrums since I was 7 or so.

Currently playing Skyrim on xbox. Am also lucky enough to have a career in games, having worked in the Industry in the last 10 years (on management side, rather than games making side).

Don't tend to play online as you just get abuse, prefer single player games anyway.

Hi all, great to see so many women gamers of all ages! It's not often I admit to it lol, I feel there's a bit of a stigma attached, but hopefully that's fading. I've had a fair few consoles in the past. My first taste was when my dad brought home Pong, so you can guess I'm on the right side of 40 lol. I've had an atari, commodore +4, sega master system, megadrive, nintendo gameboy and 64. I've had all the sony consoles and right now I'm a big fan of my ps3.

I'm playing The Last Of Us at the minute. I don't really multiplayer but on this it's great fun. I enjoy stealth games and games with a good story like Tomb Raider, Heavy Rain, Assasin's Creed and the Uncharted series. Looking forward to Thief 4 coming out. They were great games. And of course will be getting a ps4... although probably not at launch.
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

I'm 34 and have been gaming since I was 5, on my Toshiba MSX.

    Currently have a PS3.

I love point-and-click adventures, text adventures, Final Fantasy 7-12, Fallouts 3 and New Vegas. Another fan of a good story!

I'm also a LARPer so probably get an extra geek point :D

Female gamer here with many years experience! Married a male gamer who loves the fact he doesn't get nagged!

Started off playing the Atari with games like Adventure, Pacman, Pitfall & space invaders just to name a few.
Got more serious on the DOS based PC where i got into RPG classics like Eye of the Beholder, Lands of Lore, Wizardy & various SSI game i.e. Ravenloft.
Eventually got onto consoles with the Megadrive and stuck to the RPG theme theme with Shining Force, Fantasy Star, Rings of Power & Lunar Silver Star. Had to get an chip put in the machine to play american titles as most of these were never released in the UK.
Went back tot he PC and played games like Fallout, M&M & Diablo. Then I really got hooked into the very new (at the time) MMO world where hubby and I started playing Everquest, otherwise known as Evercrack! Highly addictive this MMO genre was and very exciting! Played this until Dark ages of Camelot was released and this is my all time fav game, played it for 5 years but it demanded a lot of time. Then WoW came and made MMO's care bear! Was a brilliant game but took effort and edge out of MMO's.
Have a family now so don't get much time to play and most MMO's are out because of the time they demand and nothing touches DAoC.
Decent games i've played recently are Skyrim, Starcraft, Lego City (WiiU), Xcom, Legend of Grimlock and Diablo 3.

    My Fav Games:
    DAoC
    Daggerfall
    Fallout
    Diablo
    Shining Force
    Heroes of M&M3
    M&M
    Ravenloft

    Waiting to play:
    Kingdoms of Camelot
    Elderscrolls Online

Gaming seems to very male dominated world

That's because it's the last refuge of man. Don't worry though, you have man-hating feminists like Anita Sarkeesian working on ruining it.
