Warcraft here... started on the Master System years ago.. then Mega drive.. snes.. etc..
.. but now just a wow girl:cool:0 -
I'm also female!
I'm quite embarassed by how much i used to game (I do much less now i have just graduated and am looking for a job!)
My biggest time-sinks were Guildwars at over 2,500 hours  (I haven't played for approximately 4 years either)
And World of Warcraft at over 2,500 hours also!!:o Also haven't played that since about 2010 either.
Within those 4 years of Non-wow/GW i have played mostly single-player games (elderscrolls series, dragonage series, witcher series) and also league of legends, which i still play (and if anyone wants to do a game im 'Aerwyn' on that).0 -
I'm a female gamer. Don't play much these days though. I buy more games than I play, tbh. But planning on getting back into it, and maybe even doing some Let's Play videos on Youtube.
I'm 25, mostly play on the Xbox. Stuff like Gears Of War, Dead Space and Silent Hill but I like other stuff too.
I also have a ridiculous number of games in my Steam library which I've never played!
Definitely need to get back into gaming properly.0 -
Been gaming since I was 7/8 on my ZX Spectrum with Treasure Island Dizzy. Played every console alive thanks to all my cousins that had different systems.
Currently playing on the xbox, some PC but not really online. I love Command & Conquer, The Elder Scrolls series, Fallout, Bioshock, Final Fantasy, Fable, Portal, Half Life, Tomb Raider, GTA and loads of others.
I'm sure I read somewhere that females make up 49% of gamers.0 -
said on the other thread - hello!
used to play on my brothers playstation 2 and my ex had a 3
I might get a 4 dunno
I've played on the wii but don't like to look like a idiot waving at the tv0 -
Meeee!!!
In my 30s and been gaming since the 80s0 -
Me too!!
Just turned 31 and been gaming as long as I can remember :0) Got all the consoles and love them all. Strangely my other half who is the same age as me can't stand it and he don't seem to get what I love about it!
I do find that some people find it strange and not many of my female friends are gamers - they don't no what their missing really!0 -
Me
I'm 27 and live in Manchester.
Bit of a hardcore Zelda fan (ALBW is going to be EPIC!!!!), currently on my gazillionth play through of OoT, with a bit of TWW on gamecube (yes I still have one of those...) with my best mate (male) on the tingle tuner for a giggle.
I've played COD online and other FPS games, but find I get hit on a lot, or abused when they get owned; some people just can't take it.
I've never met another female gamer in person, the closest to gaming my female friends come is probably angry birds, and thats pushing it.
I got into gaming seriously at 17 when I had a spinal cord injury so had to do something to while away the hours, and enjoy it so much still.
Any other Zelda girls out there, or am I the only one?0 -
My fiance doesn't game (at all) and I often wonder how much different life would be if she did...without the tuts of disapproval I imagine.Knowledge is a tool, and like all tools, its impact is in the hands of the user.0
