Tony, don't wait until the end of the week - do it today.
The problems with MS seem to be with the ones who are prepared to wait.
Send a LBA today telling them they are in breach of contract, give them 7 or 10 days to send your delayed payments and tell them that failure to do so will result in you sueing via moneyclaimonline for all missing payments plus all costs involved. I always tell them that any payments received after my deadline day will need to include costs and to wait until they are contacted by moneyclaimonline and act accordingly. Both myself and my hubby have had no problems whatsoever using this method, although it's annoying.
Best of luck,
Lynsey
Thanks for the advice Lynsey.I will send them a letter tomorrow.
It's all very frustrating indeed.I'm old fashioned in the sense that a deal is a deal and not all companies are as bad as these two,in the main I have had very positive experiences buying stuff from the internet and suchlike.
Regards,
Tony.
Letter now drafted and ready to post.
Thanks again Lynsey.0 -
Yet you go on their site & they are still advertising cash back deals. They shouldn’t be allowed to carry on tricking customers. I gave up in the end and got Argos vouchers (well got 1 set & still waiting for 2nd set). Whenever I contacted them via their poor online chat system, I was told to wait and then a load of rubbish about their so called technical problems was pasted in the window and the chat session disconnected.
On a side note, I've also cancelled my contract with o2 (under the change of contract terms policy). Thanks god I don't have to go through all this again. I Will never be using mobile shop again.0 -
Let's wait and see if they are in Watchdog next week0

Let's wait and see if they are in Watchdog next week
Why, do you know something?
I'd have thought that those waiting for cash will suffer if they do appear on Watchdog; it can't be good for MS' business and if they go under they'll never get their cashback.
Just a thought.Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0 -

Watchdog does take itself too seriously IMHO.
True it does good sometimes, but often they don't affect anything and seem just to go looking for the interesting telly.
How many times does eBay appear with stories of Joe from Basingstoke who bid £5m on a car from Nigeria to find out it was only a scam?
Nasty companies charging £5 to pay by cheque rather than Direct Debit? Pay by Direct Debit, problem solved!
We'll see what they make of cashbacks; it wasn't much when TheMobs went under.
