I am going to order the following from Mobile Shop.com through Quidco:

Am a bit apprehensive...Any tips to ensure I don't get ripped off and get my cashback each time? Can you cancel the insurance after three months

Thanks in advance!

  • Mobileshop.com is one of the best ones around. Just follow their T&Cs
    Yes, you can cancel insurance
By the way if you are looking for a good offer I went to Carphonewarehouse website and got Samsung D800 (clearance deal) with 9months at 99p on 12m contract on Orange Canary 30.
This offer takes some beating wouldn't you way?

And if you go through Quidco, you get £30.

I am on my second contract with Mobileshop. They have always paid cashback when they said they would. It takes a while, but you do get your money back. They are very reliable for cashback.

Fully agree. I have used them several times and never had a problem.

Been around for years, have used them a few times and so have other family members. They are well regarded, have good cust services. Would not have any problems in dealing with them again.

Also, as a previous poster has suggested, if you buy through Quidco, you get an extra £30.

My first cashback payment from Mobileshop did not appear in my account as they stated. I rang and they said they are having problems with their cashback payments. This sounds very alarming to me and could possibly be an early indication that all is not well with Mobileshop. Is anyone else experiencing similar difficulties?

I wouldn't worry too much at this point. All companies have problems all the time. E2Save in the past have had problems with their cashback payments and they are owned by CPW.

I have had no problems with Mobileshop either. You MUST follow their T&Cs to get the cashback.

Make sure you cancel the insurance within three months (you can cancel as soon as you receive the phone if you like).

You have to send in vouchers with a photocopy of your most recent bill. Make a note on your calender and send in the vouchers on-time by recorded delivery. You will not get a reminder or be able to obtain replacement vouchers if they are lost or damaged!

Other than that it's pretty easy - you should get an email confirming receipt of each claim (and they've just started sending mobile text messages too).

I'm also facing similar problem in getting cash back from mobileshop.MS customer services has blamed the delay on software and hopefuly my delayed cashback will arrive by end of this week.

I have just finished a 12 month cash back contract with mobileshop and everything has gone smoothly. I intend to take another one out with them.
