mulerider wrote:The delay is clearly within their own T&C's, I received my payment nearly 2 months after sending my statement. This is how the majority of companies now operate. Which other mobile company has cashback feedback on it's website?
But that is the problem! It is NOT within their T&Cs. They are extending the payment dates in their ORIGINAL T&Cs.0 -
could someone just clarify what the 5th bill means (for cashback) - I've never had a contract phone and understand that the first bill is sent at the very beginning of the contract - do mobileshop regard this as the 1st bill? Sorry for stupid question.0

The first bill is normally received at the start of the contract as line rental is billed in advance and calls/texts are billed in arrears, so the fifth bill should be received shortly after you have been connected for 4 months.

The only reason I have any doubts is that out of the 4 cashbacks I have claimed from them so far the last one is past it's due date. Now if they are having technical difficulties then that is fair enough but seeing as how good they are at keeping us informed via emails about each stage of the cashback process another email explaining the delay and pre-empting it would have not gone amiss. This fault can't be affecting everyone though as you can see from their feedback page that people have been getting their cashback even through the last few problematic days.0

As stated within Mobileshop T&C's:
"We aim to process all payments within 45 days from the EXPIRY date of the voucher".
Mobileshop like all mobile retailers give you a month to send the statement then pay within 45 days after the expiry date.
1 month for them to receive the bill + up to 45 days after the expiry date = approximately 75 days!!!! So just to clarify If I send a bill that I receive a week after my billing date I can expect to wait another 3 weeks!! + up to 45 days or approximately 2 months!!!!!!!
The above is within their own T&C's....0 -

No-one is disputing that Mulerider, but 45 days after the expiry date of the voucher they still have not paid, they are now saying it will be a further 14 days...0 -
I think something is up (hope i'm wrong)
if they have changed their T&C to allow a longer time to pay cashback, then why?
I've noticed the likes of CPW have reduced the number of 11/12 month cashback deals and stopped pricematch. Is it not true that a loss is made on 11/12 month cashback contracts if all the Cb is claimed?
interesting to get more info on the technical difficulty......think someone mentioned BACs processing but at the moment it all sounds a bit vague.
think people will get their cb, but future deals won't be as generous0 -

Not too good, I'm sure the problem is genuine with this company. I'm just going to see how I go with my next cash back claim and take it from there. I'm pretty certain I'll get my money within the 45 days after the expiry date, I had no problems with my last claim and I also received my cash back prize cheque for £100 yesterday.0
